Online broker: unique trading platform in Switzerland
VZ Financial Portal Pro is VZ's new online trading platform. It was developed specially for investors who would like to use a professional tool to trade their securities in real time at a particularly low cost and to analyse and implement new investment ideas. The fees are much more favourable than those of most other Swiss banks and online brokers.
Everything in real time and unrivalled charts
You can keep an eye on your trading activities at all times in the Financial Portal Pro. Thanks to the real-time valuation of your portfolio, you can track the performance of your investments on an ongoing basis. You also have access to real-time prices for shares in Switzerland, Europe and the United States.
Professional charts support you in your trading. These are based on the latest technology available on the market, such as TradingView. The chart tool offers you a wide range of indicators and drawing tools with which you can design your own charts just the way you want them.
Latest news and exclusive analyses
The VZ Financial Portal Pro contains a tool that summarises analysts' opinions on around 150 companies from the Swiss Performance Index (SPI). This allows you to align your own assessments with those of professional analysts.
Saving and investing with ETFs
Thanks to theScreener, you have access to analyses of over 6,000 shares. This allows you to systematically analyse the opportunities and risks of individual securities. It also gives you exclusive access to news and analyses from the stock exchange experts at The Market, AWP and other news services. This up-to-the-minute news is directly related to your investments and your custody account.
Trade at attractive prices
At VZ, your trading costs you up to 70 percent less than at most other Swiss banks – from the very first transaction. As a frequent trader, you receive attractive volume discounts of up to 50 percent. There are two fee models to choose from:
Ticket fee model
Use of the trading platform is free of charge. The custody fee is 0.1 percent of the custody account value, and each trading order costs CHF 39 (Switzerland) or CHF 59 (abroad). At the maximum discount level of 50 percent, a transaction on the Swiss stock exchange costs just CHF 19.50.
Flat fee model
Everything is included in the flat fee: the custody fees, all transactions within the investment universe and the account management fees. Only third-party costs, such as taxes and charges, are deducted separately. The flat fee is calculated according to a sliding rate scale based on volume. It amounts to a maximum of 0.35 percent of the custody account's value per year. For example, the flat fee is just 0.204 percent per year for a custody account value of CHF 1 million to CHF 2.5 million. This fee model is suitable for custody accounts of at least CHF 500,000.

In contrast to pure online brokers, VZ provides you with more than just digital support. If you use the Financial Portal Pro for your investments, you'll have a personal advisor on hand to assist you at any time. You decide whether you want to trade online or by telephone – or meet your contact person in the client room in VZ.
The VZ Financial Portal Pro is part of the VZ Financial Portal. It offers you all e-banking functions and much more. For example, you can see your account and custody account balances at a glance, as well as your pension fund and pillar 3a savings. You can also manage your insurance policies conveniently in the VZ Financial Portal and have them reviewed on an ongoing basis. Property owners can view the amounts, terms and interest rates of their mortgages online and calculate the property value with just a few clicks of the mouse.
