Written payment orders

Written payment orders must be placed until Monday, 30 December 2024 at VZ Depository Bank Ltd in order to still be processed in 2024.

Electronic payment orders

To ensure processing in 2024, domestic and international payments need to be entered correctly and authorised by 31 December 2024 at 12:00 pm at the latest.

Payments into pillar 3a

Amounts entered before the year end can be fully deducted from your 2024 taxable income: CHF 7056 if you are affiliated with a pension fund, CHF 35,280 if you do not have a pension fund. Depending on your marginal tax rate, you can save several thousand Swiss francs on taxes with the payment. Payments of course also improve your retirement provision. You can now catch up on this for a short time: If you would like to be on the safe side and avoid missing the deadline, you should enter the payment by 20 December 2024.
