How do I find the right ETF or other index fund?
VZ chooses the best ETFs and other index funds for you. As an independent financial services provider without our own products, we ensure that all securities are analysed and evaluated without any self-interest. An important criterion when selecting an index fund is the historical returns and fluctuation risks of the underlying index.
The process is as follows:
- Together with the investment specialists at VZ, you determine a strategy which defines what proportion of your money is to be invested in asset classes such as equities and bonds. The strategy is by far the most important factor in the success of an investment and must be tailored in line with your risk capacity and financial goals.
- We then clarify in which market and which index you should invest, for example in the SMI Bluechip Index or the SNIM, the index for medium-sized enterprises.
- Investors at VZ can adjust their investment strategy at any time in the e-banking solution VZ Finance Portal. You can change the weightings of the various asset classes and replace securities. These changes are free of charge as part of the weekly portfolio restructuring.
