What to consider after establishing a company

With the establishment of a new company, the real work is only just beginning. Many key decisions have to be made after this step. Our experience shows: Costly errors frequently occur, especially after the company's entry into the commercial register. Furthermore, questions relating to taxes, insurance or regulatory issues are often forgotten.

In the initial phase, it is crucial to a new company's success that the owners are able to fully focus on value-adding activities - especially in the case of SMEs employing less than five people. In addition to bookkeeping duties, tax and social security obligations may also arise, depending on the legal form. For many founders of new companies, it is therefore recommended to get external support at an early stage in order to avoid unnecessary mistakes. For instance, an increasing number of start-ups delegate fiduciary tasks to independent specialists.
